THESE ARE IN MASSACHUETTS:
The Garland's Hotel (Cape Cod): This place it RIGHT ON THE OCEAN in Dennis Port. My favorite part is that the rooms are more like a small apartment than a typical hotel room. In addition to the regular things you would expect in a hotel room, they also have a kitchen.... allowing you to do your own cooking, rather than spending all your money on restaurant food. West Dennis Beach (Cape Cod): Even during tourist season this beach isn't buried in a sea of humanity. You can have a nice relaxing walk on the beach, get some sun on a towel, or go swimming.... the kids can look for crabs or other small sea creatures in Bass River.TRIPADVISOR
Nauset Beach (Cape Cod): This beach has larger waves, and the water is cooler than average. One interesting thing is SEALS! Very often you can see seals hanging out in the water. I wouldn't go much farther than hip deep in the water, as the seals may be adorable, but the sharks that like to eat them aren't! TRIPADVISOR
Art's Beach Tours (Cape Cod): In Province Town, there is an area of sand dunes that is so large, that as you are exploring, you almost feel like you are on a desert planet like Tatooine. You can use your own vehicle rather than walking, but struggling though the sand is VERY hard on your transmission. TRIPADVISOR
Mayflower Beach (Cape Cod): This beach has VERY shallow water, so at low tide there are NUMEROUS sandbars. The water never gets too deep, so it is good for children who perhaps aren't good swimmers yet. TRIPADVISOR
Randall‘s Farm: This place has 30 different kinds of ice cream (made by them from scratch). Along with vegetables and other plants (grown by them). If you are going here to get ice cream.... bring a cooler. Sadly the ice cream is only seasonal! TRIPADVISOR
