SOFTWARE I USE FOR GPSing

Like most males, I hate asking for directions. I also HATE getting lost.

Fortunately, there are MANY ways to avoid using 'R' rated words while traveling aimlessly down an unfamiliar street.

Sygic makes my favorite GPS software for smartphoes.

Smartphones nearly always come with GPS apps, but when your phone looses access to your local cell phone towers (because of distance, power failure, etc) then your GPS app will give you the finger, and you are lost.

Unlike the included GPS apps on your phone, this one has you download the states, or countries you are going to be driving in.... so the map is ON YOUR PHONE. As long as your phone gets the GPS singals, it will work.

It also allows you to customise many different functions. I got bored one day and changed mine to have a smart mouth.

The paid version works with APPLE CAR PLAY, and ANDROID AUTO, and has MANY more options.

They also have a TRUCK VERSION.... so you don't take the top of your cab off by accidentaly going under a bridge that is too low.

In addition to MANY other options, you can also customize almost EVERYTHING. I have changed mine to make the GPS act sarcastic. This consistently gets a laugh when someone is in the car with me.
