MAME is one of the most complex emulators found on the 'net. It is able to run THOUSANDS of arcade games from all over the world... and other computer based hardware.

Emulators take a surprising amount of hard drive space. The programs themselves aren't that large, but the games can eventually take up a huge amount of memory. I use a protable hard drive for the games see my HARDWARE page).

To avoid pulling your hair out, it is best to get a FRONTEND. There are MANY of these menu programs, MAME CLASSIC is simple easy to use, untill you get familiar with them.
