Security Software I use:
MalwareBytes is a very good security program. It has a FREE version that just checks for viruses, spyware, etc.
The Paid version helps you with identity theft protection. It has a personal data remover, to erase much of the information around the 'net that winds up getting your computer, phones, and tablets spammed. You can also check your data footprint, to find out who knows your email address, phone type and number (another way you can get spammed).
CCleaner (years ago it was called Crap Cleaner) clears up your registry... this is something YOU DON"T WANT TO DO unless you know what you are doing.
The paid version will let you install the program on up to THREE computers at no extra charge, and updates your drivers and many programs on your PC. This is a time consuming pain in the butt to do yourself, and much easier for this program to turn a two hour project into a three minute wait.
Revo Uninstaller uninstalls programs for free.
Sure WINDOWS does this by itself, but it also leaves junk all over from programs that no longer exist on your computer. This program uninstalls the program, and vacuums up the place afterwards.
Be careful with this program. Delete ONLY things you are familiar with, as this program can easily frack up your PC if you delete the wrong program!
The paid version has addition useful functions.
